Title: Re: Vet Wrap Post by: Val Beechey on September 20, 2012, 08:58:34 PM I used it on my M6 stem and hand grip. Excellent stuff but no it wont keep out water. It is breathable so pourous. You do need to change it occasionally or it gets a bit sticky and leaves a residue on the stem. It comes off easily with a little lighter fuel on cotton wool.

When it gets dirty just unwrap it and replace. Boots chemist do a similar bandage for humans. When the machines are sold the original handle looks almost as new. ;) Jerry. Wrap a thickish polythene bag around the handgrip and secure it with masking tape. This will be waterproof and stays in situ for ages.
