Title: Another site for military buffs....Military Nicknames Post by: U.K. Brian on July 09, 2009, 08:45:50 AM This site has a nice section on the nicknames picked up by various sections of the British Army in the 1800's.

If you click on "Military Subjects" in the heading and then click on "Great Britain" on the left there's loads of interesting info about the British Army in the 17 & 1800's.
