Title: Beach and pasture finds today Post by: alun on April 05, 2013, 04:15:37 PM Had two days of frozen searching, but came up with two nice finds one of which I have been after for a while. Firstly was the silver three pence piece found in a spoil heap where a footpath alongside a old mill house was being layed. The next was from Aberavon beach!!! a really nice gold ring with a small inset diamond. When i found this i immediately froze and looked around for a badger that maybe watching ::) had tw.o good days with a few other predecimal, but the cold made it really hard work. Crazy weather

I thought that a few weeks ago so concentrated my efforts further up in the hope to pull something of age which had been washed down the river. Had the usual coinage from the dunes, but this was a bonus as i was swinging with a vengance on the black sand to get back to the warmth of my truck when a sweet note allowed me my prize. I would have usually switched her off but this time i am glad i left her on.
