Hi Chris, I am from Neath and have just bought the ace 250. I am new to the hobby and look forward to finding many great things. Went to the beach this morning and found £5.05 in all modern coins. I am joining the Swansea Detectng club Next Wednesday and really looking forward to it.

Make sure you download the beach permit from the crown estates website [it's free]. Carry it with you just in case you are challenged.

Not every beach is owned by the crown, so make sure you establish who the owners are and seek their permission accordingly.
