It's as you said first Roger a threepence but all Lizzy coins were minted at the Tower mint in London, as to price Ebay is the best place to look for current market prices and going by condition then between £10 and £20 seems to be the going rate. Wink

The rose was a gift from her husband for coming home late from the pub, stepping on the cat, and missing the toilet.

No if you look at your book you'll see that the difference in size between different denominations is quite small and when clipped can be exactly the same and so the rose is on every other denomination
Shilling....no rose
Sixpence...rose
Groat......no rose
Threepence...rose
Half Groat...no rose
Three halfpence....rose
Penny....no rose
Three Farthings...rose
