Now why couldn't you have found a nice easy one like a Lizzy or James Wink Old Charley boy has probably got more versions than anyone else.
Have you got a copy of Spink? If not then I'm afraid it's a matter of posting a photograph as there are far to many variables.

The Coincraft catalogue lists 76 different varieties,, but there were some unusual provisional issues made from plates and other silver items while the city of Carlisle and the towns Newark, Scarborough and Pontefract were under siege.  Wink

Interesting coin because some one has defaced Charles`s portrait by scratching it four times at least .And that looks like a deliberate defacement, not accidental .
