  :DAt the club that I am in The Wrexham Heritage Society sadly our FLO due to cutbacks in financial aid cannot come to meetings for the forseeable future

This has left a small void in some of our meetings IE filling in time
Can other members of clubs please suggest what we can do to fill in lost time I have
decided to have a auction of finds ect and quizzes any other ideas please

Thats a shame, but kind of to be expected in the current climate. I thing we will belucky to hang on to any FLO's at all the way the cuts are happening.

Ideas
Talks on specific historical areas,
Bring your grot box for members to look through,
Detecting machine programming by experienced members.
Best buckle/button/hammered competition.
Detecting auction whereby members can sell off unwanted finds and the buyers fee (percentage of knock down) goes to the club

Just a few thoughts for you.
