 Hi, found this on Sunday, would appreciate it if someone could ID it for me, the size is 38mmx28mm,
 (it's not silver).many thanks.

Its a receiver for a hooked tag. I  think its probably Tudor period in date.. The suspension hoops are where it would have been sewn onto the article of clothing.
