I had a couple of hours in Porthcawl tonight, Rest bay and
Coney Beach, Only found £1.31 but enjoyed the exercise.
What did suprise me was the lack of ring pulls only 2 of them.
Some other unlucky person must have dug them  Grin Grin

Ha I must have been lucky then, we'll just have to wait for those rich
holidaymakers to kindly bury their money and jewelry for us this summer  Grin Grin

unfortunatly rest bay is sanded up most of the year and coney beach is only productive after a charity swim or a really warm weekend.because of the sea wall by harbour it does'nt get enough wave action to shift sand like other beaches get.
no ring pulls no gold Wink

I had a couple of hours on Sandy Bay / Coney Beach last week.  A few coins and what was once a plated heart locket.  Way too much sand on the beach; spade was going in over 12 inches easily.
