A lovely looking coin Geoff! Well done! I haven't yet found a hammered of this design, still waiting, seem to see them all the time on forums etc. Did you find that in the same place on the large field?

The field that had promise! Good for you! That's the one with the coin weight I think you said? Bet there's more there. I was looking the other day on Google Earth in that area, will email you the GPS, it shows some crop marks that may be something, you may have seen them already, but will email it and you can investigate.
