Title: Bit of an odd stone, Any Ideas ? Post by: Zeus (Joel) on January 11, 2013, 06:37:26 PM Found this today. Looks like a tooth and had what i thought was a wire loop in the top but apparently it's not wire as probe can't find it. Could it be string that has adhered to the stone ?

I have little stones, big stones, bits of rock, chipping fossils, you name it and i've picked it up. But just when you want one you know you've got, can you find it ? NO. I had one similar, I know I did, for ages. It's sandstone with something in it, just like yours. I think yours looks like a fish bone.
