Title: WHITES PRIZM IV (THATS ROMAN FOR 4)
Post by: nobby on June 19, 2010, 10:36:38 PM
As a beginner, i was constantly researching what machine to get first. Most of the time the garret 250 would always pop up, but i stuck with my gut instinct and chose the whites prizm 4. Now i know i have nt got anything to compare it too, but i can honestly say what a terrific machine for the money. I got it off e/bay for 180 pounds and its hardly been used!! Simply switch on and away you go!!
The build quality is pretty good, its quite robust and its very light. I also like the fact that it pin points the object and tells you how deep it is. I took it out yesterday for a few hours found 2 one pound coins 50 pence piece a ten pence 1 pence and sea fishing weight!! how that got up the mountain I'll never know!! lol
on the way back home i kept the machine on and got a few false signals, a couple of drinks cans but one beep produced another pound coin about 8- 10 inches or thereabouts , so its hitting the targets alright!!
so all in all I'm up 3 pounds 61 and a lead fishing weight...another 176.39 and the machines paid for ;D

so if your looking for a good first detector, i cant praise the whites prizm 4 enough!!
Rob
