Oooooh,
I have been detecting beaches in North East Wales for a number of years now and put in a lot of time on the sands at Talacre, Flintshire. It is said that the lighthouse and the beach at Talacre is haunted by the spirit of an old lighthouse keeper from that area.

The Dee estuary has an history of many ship sinking's over the years and maritime nails and fittings turn up in the sands at Talacre, along with a great number of WWII artefacts. I have, personally, experienced the odd incident or two and have been wondering if the area is subject to strange events.

A short while ago, whilst waiting for the wife and her cousin to return from shopping, I noticed a strange cloud formation and having my digital camera with me I decided to take a quick shot and see what transpired. This photograph was taken some considerable time before the recent storms.

I remember when I was a kid I saw a perfect image of the old national fuels logo but yours is really impressive. It's funny how images like that stay with you forever.
