You never know Val, if there is you will find them  Wink the Deus is not programmed to let you down  Grin Wink

Yes, we're all just hoping one day to have some fields with some coins in! - pity my GM 4 is still very close to becoming hedge fodder - thought I'd found some more coins in the hoard field, but they were just the pennies my old man buried so I knew where to look in the future......(in the wrong place too)

btw I enjoy identifying the coins Cheesy
Not good news with the GM4 Roland, them pennies must have been a rite tease for you Shocked what you need is a CTX with 17 inch coil to go over the area if it doesn't find any more then there is no more  Wink

Yes - got the GM4 as it does seem quite deep and apparently likes the yellow shiny stuff - I will get the problem fixed at some point, although it does seem that when other people try it (and even when I try it in front of other people) it behaves better..... I do know about the pennies (they're the steel ones as well), but it's still a pain finding them every couple of months.......depending on what machine I'm using!

A CTX is one of the few things that hasn't been tried there - it's probably good at picking up groats, but I'm not sure how good at gold it is - although I've only found gold with my minelabs that I've had....
