My little band of Robertsons Gollywogs that keep the tunes going in the Dining room.

They date I believe to around the 1950's and were each hand painted and made of plaster. I am missing a couple - can't remember which ones at the moment.

No chance they would ever be remade in todays society!

I remember cutting the tokens from the jars of jam when i was little and my mum sent for tea towels I am showing my age now lol

I also remember my parents sending for the golly badges off the Robertsons Jam pots, wish i knew what happened to them now  Undecided

 The other day i was in a card shop in Bridgend and seen little Gollywogs for sale, very similar to the oldies you have in your collection Neil.

Brought back some memories of the old badges  Smiley

i have three complete bands dotted around my house neil great little items your missing the fella playing the chello and the fella with the microphone good  hunting for the complete set still very nice to see them keep it going mate cheers  Wink
