I found this Jetton yesterday, I'm not too good on ID's but am I right thinking that this is a 1340 Shield of France Jetton, it's 25 mm in diam.

Well done Geoff I love finding French jettons nice and chunky and give yourself a pat on the back on the id though there are so many variants of these they can date as early as 1250 right through to 1500 Wink

Thanks Geoff, I'm real chuffed I got the ID right, it took a real lot of cleaning, could hardly see anything at first.

And the good thing is that you haven't made it worse by cleaning - I always find with bronze I don't know where to stop sometimes Smiley
