Newport beach Wales

I searched at Newport beach and only found 2 £1 coins and a dog whistle i also found 2 small screw caps from cycle wheels so i was getting very small deep signals and the sand was black and hard so it was holding the finds at about 9 inches i will have to go back when the tide is out , have any other detectorists been on this beach and had any success.

yes its a good beach but u need to go at the right tides as with any beach
