I am still laughing at first series and yes I do feel that I have met some of these characters in person and it was a very laid back non offensive way of portraying this hobby...Most detectorists live in hope of finding the big one and looking forward to it back on T.V. Grin Grin

Just watched episode 1 of the new series, and enjoyed it. I missed the first series when it was aired, but much to my wife's despair, watched every episode back to back via you tube when we were on holiday.. (Probably shouldn't have done that). But hey I love the hobby, all I need now is my own first permission..
