well done Monco some great finds there, what is that piece in the last picture ?

I believe it is a tool handle, brass, possibly a manual drill.

Some cracking finds Monco - are you detecting inland as well as beaches now?

The last one reminds me of a dagger quillion (the cross guard)

I only do the beaches in the summer, in the winter the sand comes and goes and only after a storm or some strong tidal movement is it worth going to the beach..
I have allways loved inland detecting, you never know what will crop up...

Great range of finds Monco, Most people use a harness to aid them detecting. I think you may need a truss soon buddy  ;). Great haul

I brought this item back and photographed it because I was every now and again finding little cogs on varoius sites near old farm houses and could´nt for the life of me figure out where they came from, untill Voila.. I found the culprate..

I believe it to be an old clock inner workings...

Yep, only on the beach though and for now the beach season is off, I am waiting for a good storm to clear the sand....
