We often find the odd Medieval shard of pottery in a field, but rarely entire pieces. I think the largest piece I have found is probably only a few inches in length. Anyone had anything near complete? Peversely I have numerous pieces of decorated Samian wear a good 1000 years older the size of my hand.

A quick Google had produced the following:

A range of pottery from the period 1200-1500 found in Wales. Local products are represented along with imports from England and France.

I think someone managed something in two pieces from out the front of Cardiff Harbour. I've certainly seen the spout of it.

i have had complete and broken bellarmines ,chamber pots ,and tankards in salt glaze ,some broken ,some enough to stick back together ,candle sticks, cups ,plates ,  some in delftware as well .earthernware brown glazed porringers and storage jars .
owing to the rarity of early chamber pots they fetch serious money as it wasnt the kind of item folks kept for posterity ,unlike a nice jug .
but most were of after 1660 period .

also some early hand made pottery which could be saxon but not sure .
(not made on a wheel )
