Re the Fisher f44 you will do just fine with it mate. Swansea metal detecting club meets every other Wednesday at the Coopers arms in Plasmal (SA6 8JU). There is a meeting on 1st March at 7:30pm, you will be welcome, and can have a chat with the members to see what you think, no obligation.
