Nail Cleaner?

Hello all,

Winkled this out last night. Think its a nail cleaner with the end missing. Not sure of age, similar ones on PAS site listed as Roman but not sure. Have had Roman finds in the area but also lots of Medieval.

nice find Will when i first looked i thought Roman nail cleaner but all the ones ive seen have a loop where they attached to the others, but a closer look it could be madieval but iam not sure, nice find

I think the design looks more medieval really. There are ones on the PAS site without the loop. It's also in very good nick if it is Roman, saying that though all the finds from there are in very god condition.

I hate to say I would be filing it under "Spoon Handle", as it says hear they are very often mistaken
