Post by: Metalmickey on January 29, 2012, 07:28:05 PM This Henry V111 Groat popped out of a field in Somerset yesterday (28/01/2012) complete & whole but by the time i`d got it home, carefully in a padded tin, i might add, it immediately shattered once taken out & placed on the desk for photographing. To say i was slightly miffed is an understatement ! :-[

It happened to me I have my first eddy penny found on swansea beach went into 11 peices and some are like crumbs.
