Title: Roman coin?
Post by: Andre on March 25, 2017, 10:21:23 AM
Hi all, went detecting yesterday to one of my permissions, the grass in some places is ankle high, have to wait a few weeks for any ploughing and silage for the end of may.
Anyway, after much perseverance managed to find a two shilling coin and a few 5 and 10 pence coins,a lead 2 ring bullet and what I think is a roman. If it's a roman it's my first, but whatever it is it had it👎which is a shame,so hoping that a maverick on roman coins could decifrar what's left of markings  on the coin. Thanks

Not Roman sorry. It's an Irish halfpenny, Georgian era.
