Found this coin today near a river by Ruperra in the Draethen, near it was a broach or buckle any ideas what it is and when its from?

Heres the other side... the coin is the same size as a 5pence but allot thinner.

I thought I was dreaming when I pulled it outta the ground they are quite light arent they... should i keep it as it is or try to bend the fold out?

Hey cheers guys, I have managed to straighten it out a bit without damaging it and its def an Edward the 1st hammered silver penny. Thanks for leading me in the right direction. A few of hours ago I wasnt sure whether it was a coin or a kids play token or something like that. I still cant believe its real now..... anyway thanks again TaffLaff is gonna sort the pics of the buckle out for me and I will post them so you can let me know what you think it is.....

Ok so i google it and i dont know if this is right but its probably worh around 16-20 pounds. I could be wrong as im only going by what i have read but ust like the papers, dont believe everything you read eh?
