hi all im looking to buy my first detector ,but i have not got a clue what to buy ,i would like to be able to use it  on beaches but i also would like it to do pretty good in the fields i have around 300 pound to spend ,it does not have to be new as i like a second hand bargain too, i got a few good fishing rods for the sea , i also have a very nice nikon camera set up that cost me a thousand pound ,so if anyone would want a deal let me know thanks guys , im in porth in the rhondda

The Garrett 250 have had a good report on here, especially if you're just starting off. Good on land
and DRY sand, but not so good on the wet. They're not to expensive either, Check them out

There's a minelab sovereign elite for sale on here I think. Audio only machine no display but great on beach (inc the wet sand) and inland.
