You never see a farmer on a bike!

Went out late yesterday!...On power harrowed stubble

Found a couple of things, not too intresting , but finds
One silver Love token?? very very worn!  are these usually William
One lead token (thought it was a hammy at first, think it's around C16-18th...any ideas out there?)
2 buckles (age anyone?) 3 coppers, 6 buttons, 2 musketballs and a 1p.

Hot out for October, missed company but thoroughly enjoyed the day  (thats 4 pieces of silver from that field, and not completed it...yet).
Saw some other detectorists at Rockfield , on the way...any members out that way?

Nice finds Phil. I like that lead token. The first buckle is half of a double loop type, 16th to 17th century, and the complete one is probably a bit earlier, late 15th to 16th century.  Digga - The two items below the buckles are watch winders.

Thanks Peter for the info.

With  these Medieval dates of the articles , I'm surprised we haven't found hammered.(Adie said we would)
Our first visit and find in the field was Roman (by my friend Dicky)

But have only done a quarter of this field, still time!!!
