Title: Pembrokeshire Trip.
Post by: celticspikey on November 01, 2012, 09:29:49 PM
Had a few days near the Pembrokeshire coast at weekend with the wife, no detector thou :(, for those of you who has never visited a reconstruction Iron Age site I can recommend Castell Henllys for a fascinating insight to their way of life just thought I would share a few photos with you. Also had the chance to visit Newgale  beach I have heard this is a good storm beach during winter? Also Tenby Beach which I never realised was so huge, I would be interested to know if anyone has had successful searches on either as I plan a visit if conditions are favourable over winter time.

I visited Castell Henllys a couple of years ago and found the whole experience enthralling. The site is well worth  a visit.
