Has anyone ever detected the river Usk around the Transporter Bridge area? Mudlarking is rife on the Thames and the sticky mud around Newport might yield finds, as long as you don't get stuck in the stuff!

I've fished there as well Millsy. Paternoster rig in December landed me 76 whiting in three hours. Just checked my record books. The mud is treachorous I admit. I've often wondered what lurks beneath though.
