Had a look through my junk draw yesterday and found this broken coin, not much to look at but it's an Edward the Confessor , Winchcombe mint, moneyer Goldwine. Price complete about £3000 Cry Broken 50p Grin

As much as that coin is broken, I couldn't ever put that in a scrap pile, even if I did have a complete example. And if I was considering to do so, I would then sell it, and I am certain that you would make far more than 50p, on eBay lets say, without hesitation! In fact, I think you would be shocked at how much you could make off that coin in that state!! A nice little coin, fragment rather, by the way, and it deserves to be loved Smiley

Well Geoff, when I’m not using my silver service to serve my stuffed quails eggs and discussing the finer points of etiquette to the house maid,  I’m chucking things in the junk draw  Wink

Steve

I don't know where you fit time in to go detecting with running the manor house and all the time you spend on the phone to your legal advisors to keep your estate in order and good name protected!    Grin

That latest hoard is impressive!   Wink
