Title: Some more bits and a nice George II halfpenny Post by: BeachHunter101 on April 18, 2019, 01:59:52 PM I've been in the same couple of fields for over a year now and they're still producing
A nice bronze George II Halfpenny dated 1749 A 16th/17th century? spectacle buckcle An unusual lead? dagger chape? I have no idea what it could be. It's made out of what I presume is lead, but it does have a bronze look coming through. It definitely has some design around the edges and on the front. I found it right next to a wall of a 12th century church. Any info would be much appreciated Thank you ;D ;D Title: Re: Some more bits and a nice George II halfpenny Post by: probono on April 23, 2019, 08:05:45 PM That's a cracking George II - must have been dropped soon after it was made too - and the ground has been very good to it - are you on pasture?
