TBH Christoph this is what has put me off Talacre,i dont really want a bag full of bullets that haven't even been shot in anger,i have been doing some research of north wales beaches and i have found 2 that have got written history back to at least the 1200's,these are the beaches i wanna tect on, it really is the historical places/beaches i wanna search.
ive also got myself a buddy to search with now, he's had a bounty hunter land star hiding in his loft that he found when he moved into the house, I managed to persuade him to dig it out and I set it up and running for him and went to the school field yesterday, 15 mins into the hunt he found a threepenny bit and a viccy penny   LoL now hes hooked.

I think I know of the beach you are referring to, it holds hell of a lot of trash unfortunately but hey, if you dig through the trash you may just come up with a gem
