Anyone got an idea , theres no wording on the inside , underneathe the three feathers are the letters RV  or possibly BV.

Nice button Rob - I think its one of the Volunteer Corps - which were basically localised militia (pre 1919) . Did you find it somewhere with a B or an R as its first letter? Rhondda Volunteers for example? Just guesswork
