well your going think i am stupid  Grin  i have just got a new at pro but dont know how to change the batterys ? i have never had a garrett   the at pro is  my  back up never used it  the batterys are flat anyone help

Look at the bottom of your control box and you'll see a cap, turn this 45 degrees to the left (ccw) and pull it open, the battery clip should now slide out.

no got my at pro from the usa  second hand  (new ) but never used  no manual with it  and yes i was stupid  . i have had loads of machines but  never a garrett  could not see  where the battery went in . still it gave someone a laugh  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
