Title: Glass bead how old ? Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on January 20, 2011, 11:23:39 PM Hi Peter , got this today on a Roman site. Its definately glass but we're split on its age. I know blue beads are found on Roman sites but this does smack of being modern.

A few years ago I found a sky blue Iron Age bead, eyes only at the base of a fort. It has a hole for threading through to make a necklace. Well done though, some nice finds.
