one for you doc please could you id this.
we think it is a axe head but are not sure it has writing or numbers
on one side of it but cant make them out this is not my find
that "s a pity though it was found  by my m8 dave grubb at the side of a roman road

Not sure on that one mate. I think it could be a plough share but then again could be an axe. Looks to be sharpened along the bottom and on the right hand which makes me think plough. Somebody on here will be in the know. Must have gave a hell of a signal. It looks like Iron, is this so.

Not sure what it is, but what I can make out of the lettering looks fairly modern. Plough part seems quite likely?
