Title: Re: How old is this stuff? Post by: The Doc on December 23, 2016, 05:41:57 PM Pottery probably medieval - looks glazed in your picture which did not exist in Roman times. The iron hook probably Victorian at the earliest and farming-related.

It was rare generally and apparently unknown in England, but was produced in Wales at Holt near Wrexham and at Caerleon during the Roman period.
