Was wondering if anyone can help shed any light on this little find? Appears to be gilt, and is some kind of shooting medallion, thought it might be military at first but on closer inspection the fellow seems to be dressed in traditional shooting gear, albeit a bit German looking. Am thinking possibly late Victorian to Edwardian, what do you think? Cheers  Smiley

What a nice find Herbie.  Dress looks about right for late 1800's early 1900's and it looks to be  a Marksman award of some kind.

What a shame there's no name on it.  Very nice .
