I can confirm im in discussion with farmer come landowners for a possible dig on the Fosseway Warwickshire, at the moment the ground is waterlogged. This site was detected upon last year and came up with some very good finds so have spoken to the owners about a possible dig and they have asked me to go and see them. They have asked that all monies raised go to there chosen charity and this I have given my word will happen. All members are required to have the usual insurance cover and the dig cost will be 7.00 pounds per person across the board.Further details will be given as and when I have them.

Just to make it absolutely clear, this is a private event organised by johnus maximus, not an official DetectingWales rally.

I travel up and down the Fosse Way three and four times a week between Hunningham Hill and Cirencester sometimes vering of to Bicester near Walton Court at Wellesbourne and everytime I go along this road I say to my self One day I will detect here. Huge fields regularly cultivated, there must be some gems in those fields. Keep us posted Jon.
