Bristol hammies wanted

« on: February 10, 2013, 09:29:57 AM »

Hi all,
I was just woundering how many of your farms still havent got there winter crop in, around the Bristol area there is still alot of stubble in wet and boggie fields. The farmers has tryed to plough the fields to burie the wetter rubbish on top just to lose the field the next day to rain.
Me and Stever was chatting to a farmer just before christmas, he said to us this year has now gone but I must try to get this winter crop in by the middle of January, it now february 10th and the fields are the same.
Its better for us we have longer to detect the land, but its also nice to have two weeks of flat planted fields.
It looks like anther bad year for the farmers Embarrassed!!!!

Had to give up on the main fields until they plough as its like a bog right now. farmer stated they are looking at March now  Undecided hope they go deep everything just clogged right up.
