Went out for a couple of hours this morning, first signal, thought it was the silver plating off a button initially then I could faintly see a long cross on the one side (or what I thought was a long cross).
Spit and silver paper confirmed it was silver but had to use soda crystals and silver paper in boiling water to get any detail.
Paper thin , beaten up, silver chloridated, totally blank on reverse , how it has survived I don't know but sort of glad it's been saved.
Size wise it measures up to be a Mary groat Spink 2508!

Well done - they all count whatever the condition. I don't think I can add to your ID - if it's the right size probably is a Mary groat.
