Great company, sweltering conditions.......but probably the worst detecting day I've had.....or Homer might say " the worst detecting day SO FAR!!!!!" Besides the 2 decimal coins and a Cartwheel, I probably would have missed the tractor in the field????? ??? Rob's last minute axe head finds made it all worthwhile...great bloke...well deserved ;) Anyway! took my detector out that evening for a bit of therapy to a field near home. In the hour found 4 coins (one florin 1948-whoever lost it could have been a more considerate and lost an older one), 5 buttons and this well preserved buckle. Peter....Is it Georgian 1720-1790 ??? ??? ???
