My finds for today. Not much. Miners token and a hammerd on my last hole before going home. Found right by the entrance to the first field which we had all probably been over. Just goes to show. Thanks Mark for organising. I d on the hammie would be appreciated.

Nice George 3rd cartwheel (1797), a hammered love token (too worn to tell date) a nice bag seal and several Victorian pennies....plus dozens of buttons, buckles and spoons !  I found it a challenging dig as a very busy site....but great fun.  Hammered also found in first field !

some members finds I photographed, I am sure they will add to the thread










this was from a clump of what is believed to be a number of Coins stuck together found by Aled who attended as a guest today, but will be joining the club as a member.





believes it may be a small number of these, Constantine coins stuck together, he has yet to look at them properly though.







Just a quick one,  rather than start a new post could we when we do a finds page whoever starts it make it on the open forum, and not just the members page, cheers

on checking bits from dig......this looks like part of a Roman brooch? but maybe not ....not seen one with a concave arch top...any thoughts?
