Had a Buckle a 1920 penny and this nice artifact. My thoughts are a hair pin or Brooch? It weighs 8 grams has some detail at the top of the head but pics are not showing them. still quit sharp and towards the bottom is oval shape

The stem is similar in style to a 'Fluted baluster' style spoon knop The one you just posted the link to states that the shank thats missing is normally bent, but this shank is straight but oval shape. lets just call it a golf tee ;D ;D cheers Morley Title: Re: Stunning Pin? If you check all the recorded "pipe tampers" you won't find one (?) that is complete and can be proved to be one, even the two links that PAS record gives tales you to two tampers whose moulding is different. However there are records of complete spoons.
