Would you believe the Farmers down this end are doing a 2nd silage cut already. Shocked
Can see this one from my garden. All I want now is for the temperature to drop about 10deg and for a drop of rain over-night.

Val, its about time the farmers had a little luck with silage and crop its looking a good year for them not like last, lets hope it don't all get to dry now.

p.s I wish my view was as nice as yours from my back garden Smiley

It was very, very dry when I went out detecting last weekend - I agree with a drop of rain - I always seem to make my best finds after a little bit of rain to damp the soil.

Yes Dale they do deserve a break. Must have been one of the worst jobs ever over the last 2 years. They should have silage and hay coming out of their ears this year. The view isn't all like that Dale. Here's the other side of the coin. Could be worse, they could be wind turbines. Angry

Probono, had withdrawal symtoms a couple of days ago and went out into my top paddock late evening. Had a signal and happily put shovel in place and hammered my foot down on it. B.Hell it vibrated right up to the top of my head. It's like concrete out there. I dug on though, bits at a time and found.........another bit of melted aluminium. Roll Eyes
Haven't gone out in the mid-day Sun though. I'm one of them that needs the St.Johns ambulance man tyo help me get over heat stroke.

Best of luck to the diggers an Saturday, they'll need it.

Well, next time you say you're hitting your head against a brick wall I'll know you're not exaggerating.

Can't you put up a trellis or hang some baskets on it.? Even the worst can be made better. What about some wall art ? Cheesy
