Hi all some one has stolen my metal detector in the Wrexham area between the 26th june2014 and 24th july 2014 it was in the boot of my car so it either was at work or at my home. didn't realise but the popper on my boot was faulty until to today so it hasn't been locking itself so an opportunist has come along and tried my boot and they have hit the jackpot.anyway if anybody hears of somebody selling a Garrett ace 250 with nel tornado coil in the Wrexham area could they please let me know or ring the police if it sounds out of character it did have red tape on the handle but i suppose somebody would have taken it off. the police have it on there data base as they said its a unique theft.

could all of the Wrexham detectorists and surrounding areas bring it to other peoples attention at meetings and Digs. i would very much appreciate it.

i will reward the person who can give information that brings it back to me whether it be through the police or in person. thanks for taken the time to read and share this post.

check the completed auctions on ebay , it could have been missing a month before you noticed .also ring around the local cash generator shops i think they also have a online shop. Also try gumtree theres some dodgy people using that these days.

I hope that you get your detector back. I know that this piece of advice is of little consolation to you, but I always take a picture and also note the serial number of my machines. Came in useful one time too!
