Many of us, like myself, would of heard of the "Middleham Jewel" Metal Detecting find,but how many have heard the incredible stroke of LUCK that lead to the find.I hadn`t ! So read this short link:

There is a book out on the Middleham Jewell and is a really good read, it also has the Middleham Ring in it plus other finds associated with it, well worth buying.
