I returned from a holiday in Scotland a month ago and have concentrated my efforts on the shores since then. I had varied and interesting things up there (same username on the Scottish detecting site where I posted the finds) but as in Wales, the gold eludes me still. Here is a selection of the months finds, minus the fishing weights, buttons and other miscellaneous items. The coins are a right mixture and I think I have George 1, 11 and 111 including cartwheel(s). There is an 18?? 3d, a Victoria commemorative thing (I think) and even a thimble that came out of a muddy part of an estuary. The One Third Farthing I really like. 6ds are always nice to find.
