Have a look at some of the excellent reuses of detecting finds on this website.

They refer to it as using "salvaged" items - love the recreation using the purse bar.

For a Buckleaholic like myself, its great seeing the buckles being reused.

I can see where you are coming from Nobby, but I think its too small for the suspension hoop off a purse bar mate. Maybe one for a mouse!
