Welcome to the friendliest site on the net, and welcome to the detecting world. if you plan on coming to the rally on sunday dont be worried about introducing yourself around and asking questions.
what detector have you got? chances are that someone on the rally will knowit and maybe help you get better depth or show you a few tips with it. As i say just ask!
if you go with the attitude of having a bit of excercise, fresh air, meeting some new friends and learning a bit more about detecting is all you are going to take home with you is OK. then anything you find will be a bonus!
